Apollon Records is an independent record label from Bergen, Norway, founded in 2013. We mainly work with Norwegian artists, in gernres as pop/rock, indie, country, blues, metal, jazz, prog & electronica. We have physical and digital distribution all over the world, and about 70% of our sales are outside Norway.

After 10 years of continuous growth, we are now issuing new shares to be able to take that next step: Additional, controlled growth with more employees and more streamline back-end solutions for ourselves and our artists.
Our new board consists of chairwoman Kjersti Døssland (lawyer and former chairwoman in Buzz), Elise Hessevik (present CEO of Buzz, former project manager in BRAK), Robin Mortensen (CEO Apollon Records & Playcom Åsane), Tor Tessem (owner og Apollon Platebar, former chairman of Vill Vill Vest) and Otto Egil Sætre (project manager at Apollon Records / Karisma & Dark Essence Records, and owner of Gymnocal Industries).

Our future is looking bright. We have a vast catalogue and loads of exciting new artists. We have a solid position in (and maybe more outside of) Norway. Especially when it comes to prog, where we are among the most significant newer labels in the world. We have physical distribution via Border Music (the Nordics), Plastic Head (UK & Europe) and Redeye (North America), and worldwide digital distribution via The Orchard. We also have our own web shops in Norway, EU and the US.

We are now issuing new shares for a limited time, in cooperation with PwC. The shares are priced at NOK 333.33 (rounded), which will be available until April 28th 2024. These will mainly be B shares, which means that new shareholders can attend our general meetings, but without rights to vote. All new shareholders will get some other advantages, though. Everyone will receive an Apollon Records T-shirt in the size of their choosing, discounts in the Apollon Records webshop, and the possibility to receive 1 or more test pressings every year.
